A 4000 kg rocket is to be accelerated at 4.0g at take-off from the Earth. If the gases can be ejected at a rate of 20 kg/s, what must be their exhaust speed?
Is 4.0g the acceleration or is it 4.0*9.8. can you please tell me how to start solving this problem please |

Yes 4.0g =4*9.8
There is a section on rocket propulsion in the pinned thread at the top of this board, the whole of which you should read regularly. |
