This is kind of a given. sad people have more stress and stress is proven to shorten your life. what is the point of conducting research for this? happy people often live longer too, make better choices, and even if they die young, they do so having enjoyed every second of it.

Health does not only have to do with chronic diseases, it could also include the psychological and social aspect to it.

There is an interesting book out there called "Who is the Matter With Me", by Alice Steadman I believe her name is. Kind of like a treatise on negative placebo effect, that becomes self-fulfilling, and how to short circuit the overthinking/reacting that generates it. An intriguing take on stress, and the book's not new.
