Medical Fraternity study Life and Death. Shouldn't we study Death and causes of Death.

In http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Death Wikipedia link, i feel we should add a
new section "Death Causes" which includes all the possible reasons
which can cause death to happen and the reasons for the death in terms of organ / multiple organ failure/s viz Brain, Heart, Lungs, Kidneys.

For examples :

1. Live electric wire - High Voltages.
2. Bite of Poisonous Snakes, Dogs (if not treated).
3. HIV and Advanced Cancer Diseases. Looks like Other Diseases have vaccines
and medicines available. For example Swine Flu, Bird Flu, Typhoid, Tuberculosis, Chicken Pox, Malaria, Cholera etc.
4. Accidents, Mishaps while traveling viz Road, Air, Ship.
5. Drowning in the ocean, sea, swimming pool, wells etc.
6. Death of a Mother or Baby or extreme cases both during delivery.
7. Malnutrition.
8. Exposing Body to Extreme Cold Temperatures.
9. Carnivorous animals viz tigers, lions, Bear, Cheetah, Leopard etc.
10. Hanging to ceiling fan, tree etc.
11. Natural Death due to old age.
12. Poisonous Gases Inhaled.
13. Poisonous consumption of Solid, Liquid matter.
14. Consumption of Many Sleeping Pills.
15. Landing in a area devoid of air, i.e. death due to insufficient oxygen to breathe.
16. Falling from a High Altitude i.e High Storey Building, Mountain, Cliffs.
17. Fire.
18. Bursting of a Gas cylinder.
19. Bullets.
20. Bombs.
21. Struck by a Heavy Weapon or Heavy Weight Body.
Example : Falling of a Tree on the Head.

And there could be many more reasons for a Human Being Species Death to Happen which i have missed.

We should create a Database, Excel Sheet for Death Causes which will have fields
viz Number, Death Reason/Cause, Name of Organ/s Failure.

Have i missed anything for Death Cause/s ?.

O.K. I was going to lamb blast this thread but you touched on something dear to my heart . A love hate relationship cause of my personal slavery in life .

Engineers spend countless hrs. making it so Houses don't kill . The heroes in Life unrecognized by society as a whole.
They are a good lot for there motivation is not as monetarily driven. We it is by there fee scheduled . But follow this thought. It is no sweet off there back to make safer housing . They have nothing to gain by making a house unsafe so they don't . They do there job to there full capacity.

About 4 out of five of the engineers I personally know have mental health problems .
I think it is the rest of society that makes them that way is the thing. Depression seems to be at the core. I suspect they are depressed because of the way the rest of the world runs as they see the mechanical failures happening all around them and there hands are tied . They can't fix it . You see my point ? Why they as a profession could be depressed.

Course he had some mental issues with the metal plate in his head and all. It was not until a particular motor cycle accident thou that his mental issues really started to show up.

Chances are you will die of emphysema before you die of cancer from smoking . You are about guaranteed to get Emphysema . Not so with lung cancer . That is the political wranglings that make you think if you smoke you will get cancer . It just is not true . It is the propaganda to get you to stop smoking . Bad human for smoking and all that . Low life smoker .
You might get cancer and smoking can lead to lung cancer , but technically you get emphysema from smoking and you might get lung cancer . That is a more true statement . You might get throat cancer too.

30. Blood Transfusion Overdose.

Case 1

In Rare cases, during a Blood Transfusion process, if an
overdose of Blood takes Place for a Patient, can it result in Death, Paralysis,Blood Clotting, Hemorrhage, Unconsciousness condition of the Patient ?.


Case 2
------

An Adult Human Being is transfused Blood in his body matching his Blood Group. If the Blood is overdosed, similar to Case 1, can it result in Death, Paralysis, Blood Clotting, Hemorrhage, Unconsciousness condition of the Adult Human Being ?.

Note : Blood Transfusion with Matching Blood Group is assured
in both cases.

Do you feel, During Blood Transfusion Overdose can result in Death ?.
