A gas expands isobarically to a pressure and temperature of 6 bar and 550°C, whilst doing 600 kJ of work in a piston and cylinder arrangement. Given that the final volume of the gas is 1.8 m3, assuming Cv and R for the gas are 0.705 kJ/kg.K and 0.287 kJ/kg.K respectively.

Determine the heat transfer in kJ to 1 decimal place required to achieve this expansion?

An answer to this would be a great help,

Thanks for your time
