This world was created as a place for spirits to live. We are all bodies but some of us don't have spirits. I don't have to believe in God. I believe the two worlds are different. Religion needs to recognize this. It explains why physical life was created in a different way from physical life. But physical life has a purpose. There are "higher beings" and in physical life is where they live.

Hope you can follow this philosophy.

Define spirits (and while your at it, explain the logic behind why you think this "This world was created as a place for ..." is correct). Does all life have spirits? what is your definition of life? without spirits do living things function? do non living things function? assuming spirits are not physical but they effect physical things (matter and so on) how does this occur? if there is a differnce between spirits "attached" to living things and spirits "attached" to non living things, what happens to them when you die?

I think the body is unconscious to spirit. You probably can't "see" them. The body is inert anyway. I am not worried about it. Spirits live again physically. How else would Christ come back? Their future is infinite.

Who cares if spirits exist?
If you ask about why we are here I say its because of them. I don't know why there isn't just a purely spiritual "universe." I guess Heaven and Hell would be those places. Who knows why God chose the way He did. But here we are.

How else would Christ come back?

Easy.

He wouldn't. And he won't.

I think Nick has got into the "spirits" again.

I'm not exactly a creationist (agnostic/atheist), but I'd secretly like to "see" the universe merely as a self discovery exercise.
Every "facet" of multi-dimensional cumulative appreciation produced via component sub-structures, each delivering their unique perspective from which to view "itself" in an ever growing evolution from hatred/ignorance to love/understanding.

This "whim" allows the "one" to be infinite.

....Oh what a load of crap!......now back to sense!

I have a few pagan friends who will tell you that the universe is a living breathing entity, and that we are just blobs of universal consciousness as the universe tries to figure itself out...

Hmmm.... interesting idea..... dry.gif

.....Yeah, it is a lot of crap! Ok - let's move on. wink.gif
