To make measurement of electric or magnetic fields (inclusive light) more exactly, there can be used small electron measuring units that are metallic grids. In this metallic grids the electron density can be measured and from quantum field theory (using the combination of quantum maxwell equation and dirac equation) field strengths can be calculated, too. The advantage is that the propagation of heat radiation can be analyzed very exactly and so the power stations based on thermal energy can be made more efficient.
