Hey guys I have heard of a brain-eating amoeba that killed three people in U.S.A. Its binomial name is Naegleria fowleri and it thrives in warm fresh waters and most people who go for swimming in fresh waters or even fishing are caught be this protist, so if who ever reads this post, take all precautionary steps before going for swimming in fresh water ponds or its better if you avoid it.
