Any population which lets their leadership scare them into giving up their freedoms doesn't deserve the freedoms.

Unfortunately this statement is full of the kind of "groupthink" that pervades political discussion. Define "population" please. Does the "population" include only the sheeple that are herded by the "leadership" or does it also include the various dissenters, opposition parties, independent thinkers, anarchists, etc., i.e. the "sheep with fangs?" Maybe the sheeple don't "deserve their freedoms," but there are others who, eyes open to the reality of political manipulation, still get their freedoms taken away ... -------------------- Bill R. |

Perhaps it is necessary for the majority to be sheep. After all imagine a society where everyone questioned and analyzed everything there leaders told them to do or to believe. Nothing would get done. Even organized resistance relied on the sheep to form a cohesive grope behind a leader who can think. We cannot blame the common people I have come to conclude. They will follow anyone that will curry there favor. It is the elite of society, the aristocracy, the leaders the are to blame. They have sold out. Now with the mass media it is almost impossible to combat the establishment. But I have faith in the universe and all things proceed in patterns. Only if you can see and understand the cycle can you then do something to prevent the swing. I don't believe our current leaders can see it and are just reacting to the current situations in an attempt to sustain civilization. It will fall and collapse unless the leaders are changed. The people reflect the tone of who leads them. If they are crooks the people will be too.

The problem is IQ in the What is really happening spot of the brain. Most pep's are very low in that area. They only think in terms of immediate comfort, not the direction of travel.

In Canada or as it has been nicknamed Canacstan bureaucracy has gone mad as in Britain. The leaders deserve to be hung for there treachery.
But remember sheep will always be sheep. Nothing will change that so you have to woke within the system and parameters they accept to get them to support you or your party. That is how the world is you have to accept that. |
