Check with the school that you are going to first. If you want private tutoring there are services offered through the internet where you can hire someone to come to your house and help you out. I would type "Private tutoring" in my web browser if I was looking for that kind of help. You are taking a bit of a risk since you are hiring someone you don't know so I would research their qualifications and reviews. Remember to be a bit skeptical when people describe their own ability.

A good tutor would not assist you in doing your assignments but would show you where you were going right and where you were wrong, and how to do the work correctly. It does almost no good to only give someone the answers. I took a nephew of mine from C's to A's in Algebra mainly by changing his work habits.
