Do people other than me ever work on the internet or do they just think in their extra-ordinary mind and it gets written on the internet various websites? Then the moderators correct it! Even my thoughts get progressively transfered but rejected!?

Thankfully our minds have no connection to the internet. There has been films, and even Dr Who and BUGS episodes where a min-internet connection is used to control people. A virus straight into the mind could be even worse.

It is possible that when many people are thinking along the same lines, that new thoughts emerge in multiple individuals at the same time. So something you think could have been posted previously by someone else who had a similar thought to you. It is not some kind of telepathy (I assume); it is just that many many people use the internet and think in similar directions about the same topics.

Anyone remember the ATARI mind link? it came out in the late 70's early 80's and was a headadapter that used your brain waves to control what is onscreen.

edit: it only made it to the prototype stage (but there were advertisements released for it before it actually was released).

edit2: cant post links sorry

Thankfully our minds have no connection to the internet.

An absurdly false statement. OF COURSE our minds are connected to the Internet, as they are connected to all and any experience.

The only (obvious) difference (to me) between "The Internet" and average every day experience is that the average lag time between question and answer is far, far less on the Internet. In other words, there is less 'resistance' to the 'forward movement' of knowledge.

Which means we can learn faster which means (very much IMHO) we will get both smarter and, likely, crazier, over time...

Reality is always bending itself for us. sometimes it bends itself to amuse us, sometimes to teach us, sometimes to confuse us. It bends itself overtly and covertly. the bending takes many different forms -- sometimes visual, sometimes spiritual, sometimes we feel vertigo that has nothing to do with any physical circumstances... - Egg Theorem

This becomes inaccurate when discussing direct brain/computer links like those discussed in cyberpunk fiction.

Fingers crossed that it's only a few years away. biggrin.gif

To the original poster and the primary question, yes you can run internet software and connections on a human mind, however the long range implications of doing so, are not fully understood at this point in time?
