Here is a link to a Yahoo story that says at least 5 times a week is best according to an Aussie study.

Isn't this one of those ... "um ... of course; makes perfect sense" sort of result from science that is marvelously intuitive?
Keep the pipes clean! I remember listening to some Brit talk radio (mind you I'm in Alaska) on the web one day and wanking was the topic. Amongst the call-ins were multiple examples of blokes pulling it 6 and 7 times a day; and of course more than a couple that said they were wanking right then. And no ... the 6 or 7 times a day guys were not all 14 years old. It was all good-natured (not crude) and absolutely hilarious. I'll never forget the guy calling in from his car and telling how it was a regular commuting activity. OMG ... I sooo never want to be behind him on the road! Prostate cancer is an issue because it's preventable (to some extent), detectable, and treatable.
Men go to the doctor. Look around any physician's waiting room. Women live longer than men for many reasons. Sex hormones make a big difference. Male testosterone increases cholesterol and raises risk for heart disease. Female estrogen, however, decreases cholesterol and decreases risk of heart disease. Hemoglobin and hematocrit (blood iron) make a difference. Men have more iron in their blood, and this makes them more liable for heart attacks and strokes. Men who donate blood may actually be at lower risk for cardiovascular disease. Why women statistically live longer than men has been the topic of many studies. You'll find as many opinons as you find studies if you search. Prostate cancer is a personal issue for me because my father died from it at age 53. Ovarian Cysts No More |
