Now exist supercapacitors, which can have the same Wh/kg like rechargble batteries. So just need cheap supercapacitors and it can be used in electric car. To recharge supercapsitor need only about 1 second. If supercapsitors would be cheap and would have big kWh/kg ratio then even burning oil and producing electricity it would be about 2-3 times less polution than burning oil directly in internal combustion engine cars. And also would be 2-3 times less expensive. And all batteries would can be supercapacitors, for example in notebooks... Biofuels could be turned to elctricity for electric cars with supercapacitors more effective than it's use directly in internal combustion engine cars.
Problem with wind power and supercapacitors can be that they never would be enough cheap to make them in overall cost... But even for bigger cost it's can be reason for cleaner and safer energy.

Yes indeed however I learned recently massive amounts of CO2 are released during the process of fermentation. Some will say some CO2 is captured and some will say it all goes back into the plants growing in the fields keeping in mind photosynthesis in plants requires CO2 during the day, except humankind has some very serious catching up to do.

CONSUME GREEN MANUFACTURING OF GREEN PRODUCTS. cool.gif

Nature is responding as usual to all the air and water pollution in order to balance things out.

I think the challenge is an opportunity to change things for the betterment of all.
We have the technologies now which will become more affordable very soon. The wheels are turning.

Eventually it will become so that polluting will become so uncool it will be generally accepted by all that we should all go that extra mile to improve our environment.

I'm shutting the TV, the lights, and the fan right now!!! Look around. You can do it too! biggrin.gif

We need MORE CO2, not less.

If you love plants, you love CO2.

So what if rich people build too close to the oceans.

MAKE THE WORLD GREEN --- EAT BEANS AND MAKE METHANE.

Friends of Ivy---- UNITE.

As for supercapaciters, EEstor has made radical claims, but time will tell. I'm a bit skeptical. Otherwise, supercaps are not even close to lithium.

I don't know verymuch about supercapacitors and they are not like normal supercapacitors. Normal capacitors have two or more layers of metal and between those layers is izolator. And I read that supercapacitors working then ions traveling inside blink.gif
Anyway maybe don't nessasary supercapacistors or rechargable batteries the most important thing is that they would be clean and cheap. Becouse if they are much larger than cistern with oil then it's don't matter becouse car weight still bigger than cistern and human. And friction still doing they job. So even 100-300 km traveling distance is sufficient. And if bruning oil in station then need less carfully to clean from one or another ingredients, which don't have any harmful efect for envirnment, but are bad for car engine. So oil engine effiency is about 20-30 % and temperature hot water boiling effiency also is about 30% to produce electricity. And need vehicles to transport oil and need cabels to provide electricity. CO2 is not so bad like over bad to healf ingredients in oil, like heavy atoms...
I think need try to make oil fuel cleaner as it's possible.
