For those who support Socialized Medicine:
1) Do you trust the gov"t?
2) Do you think the politicians have your best interest at heart?
3) Do you think the politicians can make a better choice about what"s best for you than you can?

1) More than business exec's.

2) see 1) above.

3) As an individual, I can have very few choices, not being able to afford a personal general practioner, surgeon specialist, diagnostics specialist etc., so the answer is yes, I need to pool my resources with others for those things and I'd rather do that through representatives who respond to the vote than to business leaders who respond to the stock market.

“We spend so much more money on health care in the United States than other industrialized countries primarily because our prices are so much higher,” -- (Note that the statement DOESN'T say it's because the quality of care is better because it isn't. In fact, US has about the lowest healthcare performance of any developed country statistically, eg. life expectancy, infant mortality, etc. etc.)
