What you mean is: "Refusing to fanatically accept mainstream as the infallible truth" as you blatantly do. And the only reason why I refuse to accept mainstream like that, is because of the very reasoning I just posted to you, of questioning everything. In fact, the only person who refuses to learn anything, is you, whom blindly rejects everything contrary to mainstream, without even considering it as a possibility, in any degree of possibility. You look at theories/posts, and if you see that anything is suggested, which is contrary to mainstream, it's like you go into "Kill the heretic" mode, like some stupid fanatic loser. -------------------- What part of "Question Everything", don't you understand?

These observations are consistent with the AWT cosmology, by which most of observable matter has appeared from quasars nuclei, not in finely divided state. The dust galaxies were formed by evaporation of these quasars, By another words, the quasars were here at first, the observable matter later. No, it is much simpler than that : you can't learn any science, so you make up your own. Except that it is very easy to expose it as fake. When that happens, you get all rattled and you start throwing tantrums. This post has been edited by Dallas on Aug 21 2007, 10:41 PM |

Maybe you should do a bit of research before necroposting on my old topics just to get back at me. Instead of copying relativistic mass/momentum equations from wikipedia, why don't you actually read what I wrote. All of those equations are interrelated. Do you even know what P stands for?? You can't have momentum without mass, you can't have mass without energy, you can't have energy of a photon without the wavelength equations. Stop being a complete idiot. EDIT: Oh, and by the way, if you also were to actually read what I said a few posts up you would perhaps learn the difference between invariant mass (which photon's don't have) and RELATIVISTIC mass, which they DO have. And you say I'm a crank?? Have you ever opened a physics textbook? I can learn science alright. It's simply that I choose to reject mainstream, on the basis of questioning everything, rather than (In your case) accepting mainstream as the infallible truth. -------------------- What part of "Question Everything", don't you understand?

This is patently wrong, I am starting a list of your more hilarious errors. The photon is calssical case that contradicts your statement. You can stop pretending This post has been edited by Dallas on Aug 21 2007, 11:09 PM |

Then what do you suppose the M is for in P=MV Geeze. you should have probably stopped while you weren't so far behind. Doesn't apply to photon. Photons have momentum (and energy) while they are massless. In the meanwhile, you can stop demonstrating your ignorance. This post has been edited by Dallas on Aug 22 2007, 01:35 AM |

Last time I checked, according to relativity, photons do have mass. E=mc2 a little formula somebody named Einstein came up with. Of course it is a pretty new theory, maybe Dallas has not heard of it yet. |

Doesn't apply to photons (doesn't apply to massless particles in general) , you need to learn how to read before you write. This post has been edited by Dallas on Aug 22 2007, 04:25 AM |

The mass of photons was the proof of relativity in the bending of light as it passed close to the sun. Of course you would have had to read to learn that little fact. So it is you who should read before you write. |

I am starting a "list of Aireal stupidities". The photons are massless particles, the gravitational light bending is derived without any appeal to any "photon mass" This post has been edited by Dallas on Aug 22 2007, 06:04 AM |

Hello Aerial
Smile,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,good to see you mate. Greetings from the land of ozzzzzzzzzzz. Your right,,,,,,,,,,,,,photons do have mass. ========================================== But! It is in conflict with some theories which states that it is massless. |

Thank you Aireal.
Dallas, do a little homework next time before you open your mouth. You're making yourself look like a fool. Just google it and see for yourself, since you have obviously never attended a class on relativity, and therefore would not have any physics textbooks. Photons have mass. Not invariant mass, but "relativistic mass". If you could perceive any sort of fine distinction, or perhaps decided to spend more than 2 seconds reading what I said before you jump in and attempt to contradict me, you would understand that. -------------------- Two things are infinite: the universe and human stupidity; and I'm not sure about the universe.

You and Aireal make a funny pair, did you "study" in the same "school"? Since you continue to spit stupidities, I recommend this post. This post has been edited by Dallas on Aug 22 2007, 06:30 PM |
