Why the patient who under go the trial of new cancer medicine died after 12 months when he shows signs of recovering from cancer? Cancer drugs should be able to save the life and not only exten the life span by few months this is the need of mankind. |

Cancers usually spread over a number of years so treatments can be too late but this treatment is still in it's early stages and shows promise. If you were told by a doctor you had only a month to live but if you took a new cancer treatment you would live for another year, which would you choose?
-------------------- Any fool can appear smart in answering a question on accepted science by simply using a search engine. Such people however panic as soon as anything out of the box comes up because there is no ready made answer they can use. They then seek to hide their ignorance by ridiculing the person concerned or like an Englishman abroad, just shouting accepted science ever louder till they get a result.

"it selectively replicates in virus cells"
I think they mean "cancer cells". This is promising, but I also want to see more advanced treatments really saving people's lives instead of only extending it. |

Will this be available for women with Breast Cancer? If Breast Cancer is caught early enough, will this process work?
Why doesn't anybody focus on Breast Cancer patients. It seems Breast Cancer is one of the highest rate of cancer in Women. I think with women having children later in life (late 30's early 40's), wouldn't it make sense to focus on getting a cure for Breast Cancer as these are mothers of young children dying. Studies show Most children who grow up without their mother have emotional and learning issues. Children NEED there parents to be around for awhile. Mothers have a special and biological attachment to their children, something about being able to intuitively understand their children. Thank you for your continued research, and please work on finding a cure for Breast Cancer, we mothers are waiting..... our children are counting on us. |
