Yes, there is a link for medical problems and anything that produces high energy electromagnetic induction. How powerful the energy source has to be is not known for sure. Is is accumulative over the life span of the animal species? We do not know. It is used in induction welding procedures and many other processes in industrial production. Is it safe? We simply do not know. Why take a chance but even worst take it off the market and people will scream and physically assault you. It could be the next generation of cancer producers like smoking is to the older generation. Someone should find out if it is or if it isn"t. |

The technology to broadcast data using radio waves has been around for over 50 years -- in the last 25 years over 40,000 pages of credible research has been conducted on cell phones alone, and there's been no conclusive positive correlation to negative health effects found to date. Sure, there's lots of wacky findings out there if you look for them, but nothing from a credible source using accepted procedures.
Plenty of people enjoy the fear mongering and gossip that is related to peddling 'a cautious approach to this unknown potential hazard' -- but nobody is really thinking about the nature of RF -- how long has TV and Radio been around -- and look at the broadcast power used by those infrastructures - tens of thousands of watts....how many people have TVs, work under fluorescent lights, have a microwave oven, baby monitor, or cordless phone in the home? What about ignition systems in cars and radar systems at airports, weather stations, military installations and police speed traps? What about police, fire and emergency services radio systems? We're continually bathed in RF 24-7 and the minute and heavily regulated portion attributable to wireless communications is truly the tip of the iceberg, and a harmless one at that -- given the strict regulations on broadcast power. Your kid's walkie-talkie, and maybe even your cell phone, has more transmit power than that wifi hub. |

I was reading about psychiatric illnesses that can be directly traced to electro-magnetic radiation.
Supposedly we have people who are 'hyper-sensory-sensitives', and their brain is affected from processing information properly, and also its physiological function is distrupted, causing symptoms that might mimic schizophrenic like problems(amongst others not as severe, but still debilitating). Personally, I think possibly the 'hum' I've had 'outside' my head for the last 4 months, could be related to this. *There are some thoughts that 'Autistics' are hyper-sensitives, and I'm wondering how they might function if they were in an environment isolated from all these technological instruments that spread these E.M.Waves/Radiation? -------------------- edit your signature:: "okay dokey".........'sig'
