Ok here goes my Question.

I was on Pallolem beach in Goa where i meet some really nice people ;)
As you probably know there is a lot of 'alternative ideas' going round in India.
There was some friends of me there who really believed in the healing properties of silver as an antibiotic. One guy told me that before penicillin they tried silver in Canada with good results. Could this be correct ?

The wireless telegraph is not difficult to understand. The ordinary telegraph is like a very long cat. You pull the tail in New York, and it meows in Los Angeles. The wireless is the same, only without the cat.

Yup, wink.gif silver kills bacteria and stuff .... also can be poisonous too, avoid if you can.

OK, good enough. Then my following question would be...

Now a days when more and more penicillin resistant bacteria etc thrives.
Why not go back to silver. As i understood it, there couldn't be any built up resistance from it, right ? And that's a good thing i think ...

And how specifically does it work?

In the 1800's they used to dump a silver dollar into their milk container to keep it fresh. Silver kills pathogens by soffocating them in about 5 minutes of exposure .

The presence of colloidal silver near a virus, fungi, bacterium or any other single celled pathogen disables its oxygen-metabolism enzyme, its chemical lung, so to say.

That's interesting.
I've always liked silver more than gold. Maybe it was for a reason?

People take soluble gold salts in the belief that it is good for them. Too much though and the effect is similar to arsenic poisoning.

As for me, I'm still into silver. Are you saving that gold shows simmilar 'medical' effects?

maybe thats why silverware got started and then when they subsituted cheaper metals instead of silver diffrent viruses started happening. perhaps we dont need to injest the silver itself maybe just the things we eat have to be in contact with it,

Though bauxite is a common ore, it was very difficult to refine pure aluminium from it a few hundred years ago so the rich people ate off of aluminium plates (tin plates as we would now say) while their servants had to make do with gold plates.

And aluminium?

Yes, aluminium! That is what we call "Al" in Australia.

I have been wanting to try these gold and silver colloids for a couple of years.
I am just terrible at taking medicines of any sort unless I have to.
Maybe if the situation were more dire I would make myself try these. There is no risk of overdose if one follows directions!
Overdose would be very bad for the body as opposed too the benefits derived when directions are followed. http://www.colloidsforlife.com/ScienceLab.html
