Wikipedia in their CDM model/dark energy quote the following "A major outstanding problem is that most quantum field theories predict a huge cosmological constant from the energy of the quantum vacuum, up to 120 orders of magnitude too large. This would need to be cancelled almost, but not exactly, by an equally large term of the opposite sign. Some supersymmetric theories require a cosmological constant that is exactly zero, which does not help. The present scientific consensus amounts to extrapolating the empirical evidence where it is relevant to predictions, and fine-tuning theories until a more elegant solution is found."

The problem physicists face is that 70% of the universe appears to be missing if only gravitation and relativity forces are considered. For a more elegant solution look up Alternative Magnoflux Electric Universe . Comments and criticisms welcome.

Hi,
I was rather hoping that someone would come up with experimental data that would prove or disprove that Dark Energy is caused by an electromagnetic force. If no-one can then the statistical probability is that the universe is being forced apart electrically. The first postulate of Part 1 of Magnoflux Universe under the section on the Solar system which was written 22 years ago states “The probability of the sun and planets having the same surface voltage is remote in a dynamic system, thus consideration must be given to what physical effects a direct current (DC) voltage difference between them will have.”
As time goes on, it is becoming more certain that a link exists between Dark Energy and the Electromagnetic Force that is pushing the universe apart.

Where the missing matter of the universe is, is invested within dark matter.

People aren't getting the idea of dark matter, so I will put this forward, once more.

Dark matter in compressed matter, which is a leftover constituent of normal matter, once placed under colossal pressures.

The pressure comes from creational episodes, where explosions have occurred, within the width of the universe.

This dark matter, expresses itself, like floating oil, on the periphery of a ship.So DM is outspaced and contains more matter density, than regular lighter matter.

The mystery surrounding dark matter/energy, is extremely irritating. I just want scientists to figure it out already! sad.gif

Dark energy comes about from an inability to understand gravity, distance and a need to keep a dead idea (big bang) afloat.

Dark matter is (officially) anything from neutrino mass particles to 50x proton mass particles (a mere 50,000 times difference in mass) that has many magical properties which can be changed as needed because again, people do not understand gravity and distance.

Both are probably rubbish.

The relevant link for the Magnoflux electric universe:

http://electricmagnofluxuniverse.blogspot....se-revised.html

The first paragraph mentions god and it goes downhill from there.

Thanks Kaneda
I am trying to get an idea of whether dark matter and dark energy are in fact one and the same thing. Could both be combined together and be referred to as the dark E/M or magnoflux force that is pushing the universe apart.
