How many Earth-like planets do they found?

Few to none, though at least 200 planets are known. There was a recent article on the main page of Wiki about them.

Well, I was thinking that they discover the new Earth-like planets.

The trouble is at present that our level of technology allows us to only detect the largest planets fairly near to a star by their affect on the star. Earth sized planets are as yet too small to be found. As yet we have only found one "earth type" planet, though we could not live on it as it is far too big.

It is believed that the next generation space telescopes could be actually able to see Earth type planets and a spectral analysis of their atmosphere could detect signs of life and even industrial pollution in their atmopsphere. So maybe 10-15 years we might find proof of life elsewhere in the Universe.
