I am missing any discussion and even any hint of strengthening our own defenses with proper and complete nutrition, exercise, specific nutrients and/or herbs, keeping a cheerful attitude or whatever other simple preventive means are out there.

Certainly social distancing, hand washing, face masks, and the like are not the only non-pharmaceutical preventive measures. But it seems that we ignore the obvious in our adherence to an exaggerated tunnel view on illness that excludes our own disposition accepting illness as purely accidental.

There is such a thing as personal responsibility for our health, and there certainly are things we can do to "not catch the bug"...

Back in 1993, two doctors at the Einstein College of Medicine in New York discovered that a weak current passed through infected blood would render pathogens harmless. They proved this using the blood of AIDS sufferers. The blood was removed and passed into a vat where the weak current was administered and then the blood transfused. The symptoms of these AIDS patients disappeared - and so did the two doctors, who were forced to leave and go to Canada to continue the practice of medicine.
However they did obtain a U.S. Patent and this patent is in the www.USPTO.gov database still.
Anyone can use this technique. All that is required is three 9V batteries to form a 27V DC source. Connect one wire to the right toe with some cotton and salt water and the same for the other wire and the left big toe. Use for 30 minutes per day to keep healthy.

Perhaps look at some of the details behind the news. How often has flu jumped from animal to man? How many people have actually died from this "pandemic"? about 85-90. But we have spent billions to find a vaccine. The interesting part starts when you find out who owns the patent rights, and who sits on the board of directors as well as a major stock holder in that company. The vaccine is Tamiflu. Do some research and see what you find...
