hey people... not your usual theologian here but i've been offended as a free thinking human being by some of the 'accepted' theories of evolution and human existence... I recently read the 12th Planet (Zecharia Sitchin) and it's inspired me to vent some views. Please keep in mind this is a very summarized theory covering an immense time spanse and doesn't even attampt to delve into the deeper aspects of our species such as our psyche and relationship with other species on earth but even in saying that, with this following theory it's quite easy to join the dots if you let yourself.
please give me any feedback or thoughts Millions of years ago the celestial bodies we now call the Sun, Earth, Mars, Mercury, Venus, Neptune, Saturn, Jupiter, Uranus, Pluto, Venus and some associated satellites and moons all existed in a cosmic body, considered to be our solar system. Although all the major planets at this stage were able to produce enough magnetic force to produce their own orbit within their orbit around the sun and potentially sustain basic atmospheres, none were able to produce substantial amounts of life. This was largely due to the fact that all of their orbits were chaotic, varying too rapidly to sustain and evolve intelligent life forms. The ‘waters’ of space that once flowed rapidly throughout, and whose turmoil was responsible for the creation of the planets themselves, was devising a destructive fate for it’s celestial puppets. The planets, as it seemed, were destined for demise, with an annihilating collision of the bodies we now call Uranus and Earth that would surely doom the remaining planets to fall irreversibly out of a consistent, calm orbit. Although all the major planets in our solar system indefinitely orbited the sun, there existed another planet that was and is, at least, a temporary ‘visitor’ to our solar system. Substantial in size and consisting of large bodies of ‘life bearing’ waters, providing it with a reaction of gases that, in combination with it’s magnetic, gravitational pull from internal radioactive materials, creates an atmosphere, the planet (let’s name it Nefil, derived from the ancient Sumerian references to the people of the 12th planet of our solar system as the ‘Nefilim’) is able to not only protect itself from the radioactive rays and harsh environments of space because of this atmosphere, but allows it to retain it’s own, core generated, heat. Approximately 500,000 years ago, while the planets of our solar system were accepting their forthcoming demise, Nefil entered our solar system, possibly for the first time. As it past Pluto, Uranus, Saturn & Jupiter, they pulled it into what would be it’s destined orbit and created new orbits for those same manipulators, as well as effecting Neptune, Mercury, Venus and Mars, and collected numerous moons and satellites, along the way, with its strong gravitational pull. And so Nefil’s path had a new, quite dramatic, destination, heading directly towards, a then lifeless, Earth and its moon. When Nefil came into range of Earth it caused immense electrical energy surges, cutting into the Earth’s core. But before Nefil could impact the Earth with all it’s might however, it’s moons collided with the Earth first, shattering the bottom half, sending the debris scattering across a celestial band in our solar system and creating the asteroid belt that separates the inner planets of our solar system from the distinguishably different outer ones. This didn’t push the Earth out of the path of Nefil’s approach, however, and Nefil, soon after, impacted with the Earth, pushing it into it’s final resting place and new, composed orbit around the Sun. Nefil, with its collision with the Earth, deposited some of it’s biogenetic material and waters onto the Earth’s surface. Nefil then continued on its powerful, expansive orbit and left our solar system. However, with it’s newly aligned orbit it was destined to return along exactly the same route, every 3,600 years, for an indefinite period, returning to the scene of the crime, as it were, where the great collision with Earth occurred. Throughout the next 480,000 odd years, life continued to evolved and be sustained upon Nefil, and significant life forms began to be created and evolved into an incomprehensible intelligence and diversity. Their planets orbit is approximately 600 times that of Earth, justifying their expanse of knowledge of the universe and their celestial wisdom, which, as it seems, they were willing to share. Nefil was not the only planet in the vicinity that was showing some pleasant progression however, planet Earth, with it’s newly attained foreign matter, begun to rumble and bulge. It’s core had turned into a raging, radioactive furnace from the electrical energy shot into its belly from Nefil’s magnetic charge when it entered Earth’s orbit, creating burning hot lava flowing through Earth. Combined with the deposits of biogenetic material, water and moisture from the tremendous heat being caused, the volcanic matter was forced to solidify and form land mass, the steam and moisture settling to create the oceans, and the combination of the gases substantiated an environmentally stable atmosphere. The final result was a medium sized planet with the majority of it’s mass consisting of water containing biogenetic material, deposited as a consequence of the collision of another, seemingly similarly life sustaining, planet. Throughout those 480,000 years, Earth’s ‘lord’, Nefil, passed through our solar system, its life forms evolved dramatically and produced intelligent life. We will refer to this intelligent life hereafter as the name the ancient Sumerians (first civilized man) referred to them, the Nefilim (people of the planet Nefil). At one stage, their evolution reached a point of cosmic awareness and they successfully endeavoured upon the creation and mastering of science, astrology and technology. The Earth’s life force was showing increasing improvement too, with numerous varieties of life evolving in Earth’s diverse, yet stable climates, although they were all made of basically the same base elements, they were still hindered by the fact that those elements were predominantly biologically constructed of materials that were quite rare on Earth and not of the materials and chemicals that were of abundance (material from the ‘original’ Earth, before it came into in to contact with Nefil), but still they survived and evolved, eventually into a belated attempt at intelligent life, Humans, seemingly stuck in a Neanderthal state. Upon the advancement of the Nefilim came their ability to interact with the closest planet in their orbit, every 3,600 years, the Earth. This created incomprehensible advances in the progression of the Humans, through ages of significance (Stone Age, Bronze Age, etc.) conveniently spaced approximately 3,600 years apart from each other and located at one particular focal point of the Earth, the Near East, or the garden of life. At one point, the Humans evolved to a level that allowed them to understand, relate and learn from their ancient cousins, the Nefilim, and the Nefilim became more and more interested in the lives of the Humans. The interest, of the Nefilim males especially, increased to the point of discovering an attraction with the females of the Human species and found themselves becoming intimate with craving to start a life with the females on Earth who bore their children. And so it was, some of the Nefilim set up permanent residents in Earth but still maintaining contact with their home planet of Nefil and their people. They were worshipped by the Humans as gods, deities or Yaweh (from the heavens), and their sons, born of the Human womb, were worshipped as the sons of gods. Temples, stairs to the heavens and sacred ‘launching’ sites were erected on the Earth, for the concise intention of travelling and communicating with Nefil. The broad knowledge of the Nefilim, gained by their broad orbit of space, was passed on to the Humans and they advanced at an increasing rate, allowed to express their individual creativeness while still maintaining certain cosmological, definite ‘laws’ or values when experimenting with theories. They, therefore, had an unexplained awareness and knowledge of something they had no personal experience with, other than witnesses. This knowledge allowed them to explain, understand and piece together the environment in which they lived and the surrounding environments that effected it. Their evolution was far from natural, and the consequences would prove be catastrophic as their attempts to ‘keep up with the Nefilim’ as it were, would prove futile on a planet not born to sustain their evolution. Since the planets last visit into our solar system, somewhere in the line of 2,500 years ago, the Nefilim people that occupied the planet were eventually bred out. Forming a mongrel race, neither able to coincide with our environment or able to save our own demise as a result of our inabilities. |

Great imagination. Ever thought of reading some books on astronomy to see why you are wrong?

admitidedly i haven't read many modern astronomy books, most of my idea is based on ancient scientific facts that have been able to tie the myths of religion to the facts of science. And so although some a my innacuracies can easily be identified, i'm certain that if you corrected them the story would still make perfect sense.
the basis of this theory is based on knowledge given to the human species as far back as 11,000BC from a much wiser source than ourselves utilizing actual facts from actual experience, not creating theories from mathematical assumptions.... thanx for taking the time to read |

I think if you do even a little research on the internet, you'll find that there is no evidence for what you say. I think you'll find no evidence for those "ancient scientific facts." The sort of conspiracy theory you talk about was popular in the seventies, with Von Daniken, Lobsing Rampa (actually a plumber from Bolton. I kid you not), and many other fakers or mislead people. To quote on one paragraph of your idea-
(Quote: Millions of years ago the celestial bodies we now call the Sun, Earth, Mars, Mercury, Venus, Neptune, Saturn, Jupiter, Uranus, Pluto, Venus and some associated satellites and moons all existed in a cosmic body, considered to be our solar system.) It still is called a solar system. (Quote: Although all the major planets at this stage were able to produce enough magnetic force to produce their own orbit within their orbit around the sun and potentially sustain basic atmospheres, none were able to produce substantial amounts of life.) The planets are in set orbits, magnetism free, and unless acted on by outside forces, will stay there forever. Most planets do have an atmosphere but only Earth has a breathable atmosphere for our kind of life. We have no certain knowledge of life elsewhere in the solar system. (Quote: This was largely due to the fact that all of their orbits were chaotic, varying too rapidly to sustain and evolve intelligent life forms.) As I said, the orbits were as now, for billions of years. Orbits of planets cannot "just change". You are talking mere millions of years ago, and we know Earth has been about it's present distance from the sun (where you can have ice and water) for billions of years. (Quote: The ‘waters’ of space that once flowed rapidly throughout, and whose turmoil was responsible for the creation of the planets themselves, was devising a destructive fate for it’s celestial puppets.) The bible talks ignorantly of waters in space. Probably what they thought of as "waters above the firmament" in Genesis 1 referred to the Milky Way, a "wall" of stars. All water in space is frozen very solidly. The planets, like the sun itself was made from remnants of a "nearby" super-nova. (Quote: The planets, as it seemed, were destined for demise, with an annihilating collision of the bodies we now call Uranus and Earth that would surely doom the remaining planets to fall irreversibly out of a consistent, calm orbit.) You really should read some astronomy books. This sentence shows you have never read any. I'm sure the posters here will be happy to help you with any questions or queries you have on astronomy. -------------------- pupamancur is : Rabbit, Dallas, LearmSceince, Gizmo, Gehn, Alpha, BenTheMan, LeTUOtter, Charles Lee Ray and probably others. Just something to note. You talk of life and other planets around 500, 000 years ago. That is yesterday in geological terms. Where the dinosaurs existed in the millions range. This plane has pretty much existed in the billions range. So where would their fossil records be? They would have left some civilization evidence behind. Instead some of the oldest (and I do mean oldest) evidence we have of early man is fossil records some 10, 000 years back. Completely predating the bible and anything it says by a long shot. Now take it man lived not much different than animals then but we also have civilization evidence dating back 2, 000 years before the introduction of the bible and anything it had to say. That was a time when people worshiped "pagan gods".

No offense, but your whole theory went wrong even before you started.
Sitchin's work should only be read for amusement, and not taken seriously. For those of you who don't know who Sitchin is, he is a very amazing man. He has the ability to translate ancient writings (Hebrew for example) without even knowing the language, quite amazing! http://skepdic.com/sitchin.html Also, I would ask, what is so offensive to you about the 'accepted' theories of evolution? -------------------- http://www.brembs.net/gould.html
