I need help for this asap ideally as i cant find the data on the net. im comparing Fibre optics to electrical transmission in my work im carrying out and i cant find the properties regarding the copper wiring (like used in telephone cables) i want to know the speed of which it travels along the wire n How its trasmitted
and IDEALLY if possible (not desperate though) the bandwidth of one single fibre (i cant get this figure right through my calculations:() and also how much copper (diameter) would be needed to meet the same bandwidth that single fibre carries. thanks in advance This post has been edited by carelessrabbit on Nov 9 2006, 11:22 PM |
