I need help for this asap ideally as i cant find the data on the net. im comparing Fibre optics to electrical transmission in my work im carrying out and i cant find the properties regarding the copper wiring (like used in telephone cables) i want to know the speed of which it travels along the wire n How its trasmitted

and IDEALLY if possible (not desperate though) the bandwidth of one single fibre (i cant get this figure right through my calculations:() and also how much copper (diameter) would be needed to meet the same bandwidth that single fibre carries.

thanks in advance smile.gif the last bit isnt desperate, but the first bit is vital!!!!
